What Happens If You Hook a Flashlight to your Drone?

Ever wondered if you could get cool drone pics at night? The answer is yes :) Keep reading to see how :)

Here is what you need:

1. Phantom 3 Standard - Or another drone with legs below it to mount the flashlight. (http://amzn.to/2q5iWjt)
2. Gear Ties (http://amzn.to/2q50aZJ)
3. Bright Flashlight. I used this: Nitecore MH20GT (http://amzn.to/2pj7hAp)

Here is what you do

1. Wrap the Gear Tie around the flashlight at least 2 or 3 times.
2. Wrap the endges of the gear ties around the rear of the drone on the feet. Make sure the props can all spin freely without hitting the light or the Gear Tie. The flashlight should be mounted to the feet , but the drone should still be able to stand on its own.
3. Turn on the light.
4. Lift off :) Make sure nobody is near, it can be a bit wobbly once you first lift off, but once the drone realizes it is a bit crooked, it will stabilize and compensate for the extra weight.
5. Be smart. I did this in a big open area while camping on a private property. So it was just us :)
